Restorative Solutions is recruiting for a full-time Manager and a number of sessional facilitators to develop and deliver the Cautioning and Relationship Abuse (CARA) project across West Yorkshire.
The manager will oversee the delivery of c 40 CARA cohorts/annum (80 workshops) across West Yorkshire and will play an integral role as the single point of contact for West Yorkshire Police leads to liaise in respect of process issues, and act as a CARA advocate in developing delivery across the area. We are looking for a skilled manager, with experience of working in a multiagency environment and managing multiagency teams, and of working with both offenders and survivors of domestic abuse.
Sessional facilitators will deliver workshops (all on Saturdays) for separate groups of male or female offenders of intimate partner domestic abuse, and male or female offenders of non intimate partner inter familial abuse. We are looking for skilled practitioners who have experience in delivering group work, knowledge of domestic abuse issues and an aptitude and ability to engage individuals from a range of backgrounds. Full training will be given, providing opportunities to develop and hone skills in motivational interviewing and to see the powerful impact of group work - 6 days training on 10th, 11th, 12th and 17th, 18th, 19th September.
Please note the manager and all facilitators will be expected to be available for all 6 training days; a modest training day allowance and expenses will be paid for each day. NPPV Level 2 police vetting will be required.
