“Time to Celebrate”
Originally launched on 31st March 2014 as part of the Restorative Forum we are now a year on and moving from strength to strength Restorative Solutions are working alongside The CSP Academy, part of Red Snapper Learning. A combination of accessibility, efficacy and integrity, backed by Edexcel (Pearson Group) makes the scheme particularly appealing to Restorative Practitioners.
Accreditation began with the development and offer of the BTEC Level 3 Advance Award Practitioner Training in Restorative Approaches. There are now at the end of just one year 133 Practitioners either Accredited or shortly to become accredited.
Quality training, accessible accreditation, easy to book complete your portfolio online.
Subsequent development of the Case Supervisor Role and BTEC Level 4 Professional award Restorative Approaches to qualify for Accreditation is proving surprisingly popular launched formally just this year.
Today saw the first Case Supervisor achieve accreditation with another 11 enrolled and soon to be qualified this is the only Accredited qualification available for Case Supervisors. Another 3 courses are planned in the next 2 months.
We have also recognised the BTEC Level 4 Professional award Restorative Approaches for Managers of Restorative Practice in Organisations bringing a further 300 plus to the accreditation scheme.
The Accreditation Scheme is now appropriately sited within the Student Zone of the Restorative Forum.
Where in the coming months it is planned to develop the requirements for Continued Professional Development (CPD) including on line resources and e learning, see below.
This is an area for current or prospective students to interact amongst themselves and with their trainers. This area also hosts a private section for trainers where RS can posts “jobs” for freelance trainers to bid on. In future, it is planned that a number of CPD activities will be hosted in this area.
One single payment of £325.00 plus VAT gives access to accreditation the support and the Forum are free, no annual fees. We can even provide ‘a private forum’ for your organisation at no cost.
