We’re delighted to announce that Restorative Solutions’ very own Gary Stephenson has contributed an essay toward the brand new book Crime & Consequence - what should happen to people who commit criminal offences?
This insightful book features over 65 varied perspectives of the criminal justice system, from criminal justice professionals, prisoners, academics, and more, all with their own opinions, often formed from their own first hand experiences, on how to deal with one of the most important questions facing our society today. Gary Stephenson, Executive Chair of Restorative Solutions, has contributed an essay titled “Behind Closed Doors”, which explores the programme run by Restorative Solutions to combat child-to-parent violence in the home.
Gary’s 32 year career in the Lancashire Constabulary, as well as his work with Restorative Solutions, and his involvement with projects such as Intensive Alternative to Custody schemes and Restorative Approaches with Priority & Prolific Offenders, have all contributed towards his insightful and thought-provoking essay featured within this book.
Crime & Consequence will be available from the 6th November: you can purchase a copy via the Koestler Arts Website for £10, or download a free PDF copy from the Clinks website.
